Serving Fairfield & Litchfield Counties CT and Westchester, Putnam & Dutchess Counties NY since 2000Philip studied aeronautical engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in the early 1980ʼs, with a minor in computer science.
After leaving Embry-Riddle, he attained both ASE and Chrysler Corporation Master Automotive Technician certifications. Philip then went on to get a degree in Graphic Design/Commercial Art fromThe Connecticut Institute of Art.
After pursuing automotive and graphic design interests concurrently for a decade, Philip decided to blend his artistic and technical skills and point them in the direction of remodeling and renovating homes. The quest for knowledge and perfecting his skills did not stop there. He continues this journey today, by attending annual buildersʼ conferences, studying trade journals and taking on continuing education classes that complement an already diverse knowledge base.
Philip has attained several building industry certifications over the last 18 years. They include NAHB (National Association of Home Builders), CGR (Certified Graduate Remodeler), CAPS (Certified Aging in Place Specialist), certifications, BPIʼs (Building Performance Institute), BA (Building Analyst) certification, OSHA safety certification and the EPAʼs LRRP (Lead for Repair Renovation and Painting) certification. Philip currently holds licenses for remodeling in Connecticut, Westchester County and Putnam County in NY.
Philip continues to his journey by pursuing his Certified Green Building Professional certification and keeping up on the latest trends in design, building science, building codes and materials engineering.
Philip resides in Danbury, CT with his wife of 27 yrs and their three children. He is a very active member of The Assumption Greek Orthodox community as a parish council member, past council president, vice president and secretary. Phil also is co-chair of the childrenʼs activities tent at their annual cultural festival. He also enjoys Hot-Rods, the current long term project is a 1967 Chevy Camaro. He enjoys swimming at the YMCA with his daughter and playing tennis when he can.
